Seminar of Canadian museology
Ecole du Louvre - the University of Montreal

Open to postgraduate students from the Ecole du Louvre, this Canadian museology seminar is held every year in Montreal (from early July through to end September).
Students take part in the applied research programme in museology, led jointly by the University and a number of heritage centres in Montreal.

The seminar is supported by the Office Franco-Québecois pour la Jeunesse (OFQJ)

University of Québec in Montreal (UQAM)

Echoing the Canadian museology seminar, a programme called « French museology » is offered to students following the Master’s course in museology at the University of Montreal and the University of Quebec in Montreal (in October every year).
Students are provided with an overview of the French approach to museology and cultural heritage through encounters with experts and visits to institutions or departments specialising in specific aspects of museology.
