Born of the close collaboration between the Ecole du Louvre and the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, this annual seminar focuses on specific aspects of Venetian art held in Venetia or in other foreign collections.

Every event includes conferences with internationally renowned specialists and complementary visits led by curators or professors.
Students are expected to play an active part in the detailed presentations of artworks during the visits. A reading list and some methodological guidelines will be sent to participants upon registration.

The seminar is open to Master’s and PhD students from the Ecole du Louvre, as well as students from foreign universities. It may be held in French or in Italian. A good command of both languages is therefore essential.
