For its students, cultural heritage professionals and the museum-going public, the Ecole du Louvre publishes several collections of specialised books, ranging from introductions to multidisciplinary research.
- The Text books collection: As a follow-up to the teaching, the textbooks of the Ecole du Louvre are intended to be reference books, as well as an introduction for readers wishing to gain or further their knowledge of a civilisation and its arts.
- The « Rencontres de l'Ecole du Louvre » collection: Since 1981, the Ecole du Louvre has organised scientific conferences and symposia, often in parallel to an exhibit, on themes related to current topics in research. This collection presents the proceedings of these events.
- The Thesis collection: The research undertaken by doctoral students at the Ecole du Louvre covers a vast array of subjects, ranging from archaeology and art history to ethnography and museum studies. The collection of studies attests to the vitality and originality of research in our institution.
- The Thesis list collection: This collection presents (from 1982 onwards) the list of and (from 1986 onwards) the summaries of the research carried out by the School's post-graduate students.
- The « Off collection » collection: books by authors, research by students or collections of scientific articles, these volumes reflect current research.
- The Ecole du Louvre is a sponsor of the publication of the review Histoire de l'art which publish the work of young researchers in the areas of Art History, Archaeology, Restoration and Museology.
